27 April 2018 - Small Gratitudes

This next month, in my bullet journal, I am going to keep a gratitude list (also called "A line a day" type) and a daily improvements journal. I may post about those later, but I am feeling the need to share some small gratitudes, especially after the few weeks/months I've had. Enjoy.

  2. a cool breeze
  3. a hot cup of coffee
  4. my large, labeled bottle of water
  5. my warm dogs
  6. my floofy cats
  7. my partner, who takes really good care of me, even when I don't realise I need it.
  8. a good mystery novel
  9. my grey and white comforter which keeps me warm on the couch and is big enough to fit ALL my family under it.
  10. The Avengers (particularly Black Panther)
  11. my parents (for whom I have many BIG gratitudes)
  12. My mom's egg and sausage quiche...
  13. My mom's chicken pot pie...
  14. My mom's apple pie...

Current stats:

yesterday's water intake - 80 ounces
today's goal - 80 ounces

pain level - 5-7 (still recovering from last weekend and a bout with the lawn)

current mood - the kind of mood where what you want is a cup of hot coffee, a comfy blanket, a good mystery novel, and a thunderstorm outside... and you just read until you fall asleep.

  • Janelle Monae (explicit warning - sometimes)
  • Lizzo
  • Liz Phair
  • Enya
  • The High Kings
  • Yiruma
  • N.E.R.D. (explicit warning)
